Forehead lifts are usually performed under local anesthesia that is supplemented by sedation medication. Dr. Clymer uses the latest in endoscopic technology to perform forehead lifts. The endoscopic forehead (or brow) lift is performed through two small incisions, each about a half an inch long, behind the hairline and two incisions above the ear in the hair-bearing portion of the temple, each about two inches long.

Most patients are back to work within two weeks. Strenuous exertion should be avoided for about a month, along with prolonged exposure to the sun.
